PhotoWorks notified users today that they will be closing. Users have until April 4, 2011 to complete and order projects. They are recommending Shutterfly as an alternative and provide a utility to transfer your photos to Shutterfly.

It is really too bad. They had some unique products and formats. Hopefully Shutterfly will pick up some of their more unique offerings such as their die cut “pea pod” and “round about”.
