Photo Greeting Cards
Photo greeting cards have become a popular way to celebrate occasions and share memories. In the digital age of e-mail and e-cards a personalized, tangible greeting card delivered by the good old postal service has a lot of meaning. They are a great way to keep friends and family updated for holidays, special events, and vacations. They also serve as a keepsake that lasts long after flowers have died and e-cards have been deleted.
Putting together a photo card requires a little creativity and some forethought to ensure it is delivered on time for a special occasion. For these reasons they will likely be more cherished by the recipient than the digital alternatives or a generic greeting card.

About the Author
Hello! My name is Mark Foster and I am the creator and author of PhotoCardGuide.com. I am both a photographer and technology enthusiast. During the week I am a humble software engineer and on the weekends I photograph an occasional wedding.
I grew up in Rochester, NY (home of Kodak) and was raised in a family of shutter bugs. I started shooting with a hand-me-down camera with rotating flash cubes back in the 80s. That was closely followed by a disc camera and eventually an SLR. In 1999 I purchased my first digital camera and have been shooting digital ever since.
Over the last few years I have fielded a lot of questions and have noticed that a few consistently come up. One question that comes up repeatedly is the best way to get images printed. The answer to that question changes quickly in this age and often depends on the kind of output desired.
I created PhotoCardGuide.com to focus on photo greeting cards in particular because they have become so popular and there are such a wide variety of creative options now available. I hope this site will serve as a useful guide to photo enthusiasts such as myself.
